Responsibilities:

  • Steer the provision and strategic oversight of medical services, ensuring alignment with CFGs clinical guidelines and the highest community standards of care.
  • Serve as the liaison among correctional officials, public agencies, and our dedicated staff, ensuring effective healthcare delivery and desired patient outcomes.
  • Foster a collaborative atmosphere where safety and compassion are paramount and continuous improvement is the standard.
  • Oversee the development of policies and programs that prioritize quality care and support the objectives Conduct thorough examinations and provide comprehensive healthcare, consistent with national standards.
  • Supervise clinical services and coordinate comprehensive care for our youth.
  • Lead with a patient-first approach, ensuring treatments are ethical, tactful, and effective.
  • Engage in continuous educational and quality improvement activities to advance your team and our care.

Requirements:

  • A holder of an MD or DO degree, with completion of a U.S.-based residency program.
  • Someone with at least two years of experience in public health, emergency, or family practice and a preference for experience in correctional healthcare.
  • A skilled communicator with excellent critical thinking abilities and a solid medical knowledge.
  • A professional philosophically aligned with our mission and can command respect while delivering objective care.
  • An individual with unrestricted medical and prescriptive authority in the facility's state
  • Maintain an active Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certification.
  • Must have an unrestricted and valid prescriptive authority with the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and Controlled Dangerous Substance (CDS).

Functional Demands:

  • Ability to pass all required health and other screening tests.
  • May be required to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Provide 24-hour on-call coverage to advise medical providers in situations requiring immediate medical intervention.
